Camera + Love = Memories Forever
Wesley + Jessica | Blush & Sage | CW Hill Country Ranch Wedding
Wesley & Jessica's wedding day took place at the beautiful CW Hill Country Ranch. Our lovely bride Jessica made all of her decor and I must admit y'all she did an absolutely beautiful job tying everything together. From the succulents to the blush roses to the lovely sage tones of the bridesmaid dresses, it just blended together to make the perfect spring wedding. Jessica also had one of the most stunning dresses I've ever seen! I hope you enjoy their love story!
Q : Tell us about your wedding! What was the inspiration behind your day? Did you have a specific theme, style or color palette? Did you incorporate any cultural or religious traditions in any part of your day?
A : The inspiration for our wedding was cacti, succulents and blush pink tones. We wanted the theme of our wedding to be a reflection of our simple style and be more focused on the meaning behind the wedding rather than all the materialistic things. We did not incorporate any cultural or religious traditions in our big day.
Q : Let's talk wedding decor. How did you decorate your space for the ceremony and the reception? Was any part of the decor DIY?
A : Everything was DIY. I made custom signs, succulent and cacti boxes, minimal flowers in blush tones and gold accents. Simple and sweet!
Q : What were the florals like in your wedding? Did you use flowers in any of your design elements like the bridal bouquets, centerpieces or ceremony backdrop? Did they play an important part in the overall style of your wedding?
A : Succulents, cacti and blush toned flowers were the florals. We used all elements in the handhelds, center pieces and ceremony backdrop. Simple and laid back style. They were very important for the style of our wedding!
Q : Let's talk fashion. How did you choose your wedding day look? How did the groom? Describe both looks in detail.
A : Low back, champagne, full lace long train romantic dress with simple vail. Groom in custom charcoal grey suit and champagne tie and brown alligator skin boots.
Q : Did you personalize the day in any way (food trucks, guest entertainment etc.)? What were some of your favorite parts of your wedding?
A : Live band, food stations and lots of alcohol! Lots of fun for our guests.
Q : How did you meet? Tell us about the proposal.
A : We met on a blind date that wasn't supposed to be a date!Proposal was at enchanted rock with our son there to share in the moment!
Q : What was the most anticipated or special moment of your wedding day?
A : Our wedding vows and first dance!
Q : Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you'd like to share with other couples planning their day?
A : DIY where you can, don't pinch pennies on the aspects that are most important to you and don't get wrapped up in the planning. The day will be perfect anyway!
Thank you to all the vendors who made the day beautiful!
